Brenna is a dedicated economic development professional with a deep commitment to the growth and vitality of South Dakota communities. She currently serves as the Economic Development Professional for the City of Summerset, where she leads strategic initiatives to foster business expansion, workforce development, and long-term regional prosperity.
 
Her career includes service in the South Dakota Governor’s Office of Economic Development under Governor Kristi Noem, where she supported statewide efforts to attract investment and strengthen South Dakota’s economic and business landscape. Prior to her current role, Brenna served Meade County through her work with Sturgis Economic Development, helping to advance infrastructure, entrepreneurship, and community partnerships.
 
In addition to her public sector experience, Brenna is the founder of Cornerstone Consulting, a private firm focused on empowering municipalities and organizations with strategic planning, branding, and policy development. Her work reflects a values-driven approach rooted in integrity, clarity, and community pride.
 
Brenna brings a unique blend of western grit and modern strategy to her leadership, championing initiatives that honor local identity while fostering innovation and growth.
 
With a strong foundation in public-private collaboration and a passion for building resilient, values-driven communities, Brenna brings both vision and practical expertise to her work.
