DISCLAIMER & TERMS OF USE:
The goal of the camera registry program is to deter crime and promote public safety through collaboration between the Summerset Police Department and the community we serve. Registering your camera not only helps deter crime but assists the Department in its investigative efforts if a crime occurs in your neighborhood.

Accordingly, all camera registrants agree to the follow terms and conditions:

  • Registering your camera does not provide the Summerset Police Department with direct access to your cameras. Police may ask program members to check their video footage for a specific date and time that may show activity involved with a crime.
  • Registration is voluntary and there is no cost associated with registration. You may request your registration be removed at any time.
  • Any footage containing to/or related to criminal activity may be collected for use by Summerset Police Department as evidence during any stage of a criminal investigation.
  • If necessary, the Summerset Police Department will contact you directly using the information provided on this site to request the appropriate video surveillance footage.
  • Under no circumstances shall registrants construe that they are acting as agents/or employees of the Summerset Police Department through the camera registry program.
