FULL-TIME FINANCE OFFICER – OPEN UNTIL FILLED
The Summerset Board of Commissioners is accepting applications for City Finance Officer. The City Finance Officer is responsible for all the city’s financial operations, including accounting and finance administration, budgets, financial reporting, filing of all state and federal reporting, payroll, accounts payable, elections, along with developing plans for long-term financial goals. The Finance Officer prepares the minutes and is the record keeper for the Commission. The Finance Officer, working with the Assistant Finance Officer, also oversees utility billing. Wage is DOE, plus full benefits.

Board of Commissioners: one (1) position open, due to a vacancy
The Summerset Board of Commissioners is accepting applications from individuals who are interested in serving on the Summerset Board of Commissioners. There is one (1) position open, due to a vacancy, with the term ending on April 17th, 2025. All residents of Summerset are eligible to be appointed to serve on the Summerset Commission. Individuals who would like to be considered for the appointment are asked to submit an application, resume, and cover letter outlining their background and qualifications.

Individual interviews will be scheduled by the Mayor/Board. This appointment will be to fill the vacancy of a commission seat until the next annual municipal election on April 8th, 2025, in accordance with SDCL 9-13-14.1
